Meet Dr. Thaddeus Chamberlain
Colonel Chamberlain served as the Squadron Commander, 633d Dental Squadron at Joint Base Langley Eustis, Virginia.
Colonel Chamberlain was born in Iowa City, Iowa in 1963. He attended Brigham Young University for 1 year and then served a mission in Peru for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After his mission, he graduated from Iowa State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree (BS) in Distributed Studies of English, Spanish and Chemistry. He then attended dental school at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 1991 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree and was selected for a one year Dental General Practice Residency at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. In 1997 he completed the 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS. In 2006 was selected for an Air Force sponsored residency in Endodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX and Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, TX which he completed in 2008. He is dual boarded and holds Diplomate status in the American Board of Endodontics and the American Board of General Dentistry.
Colonel Chamberlain married Karla Bruening in 1984. Together they have four children and five grandchildren. After 24 years of service in the Air Force Thad has made Iowa his home and looks forward to treating your patients.
