Endodontics is
one of the nine
specialties of dentistry recognized by the
American Dental Association, and deals with the
tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a
tooth. Endodontists perform a variety of procedures including
root canal therapy,
endodontic retreatment, surgery, treating
cracked teeth, and treating
dental trauma.
Endodontists are dentists with at least two
additional years of advanced specialty education in diagnosis and
root canal treatment. We use our special training and experience in
treating difficult cases, such as teeth with narrow or blocked
canals, or unusual anatomy. Cedar Valley Endodontics uses the most
advanced technology, such as operating microscopes, ultrasonics and
digital imaging, to perform these special services.
